**CALIDO - Warehouse Assistant**

Based at Bandeath Industrial Estate, Stirling, Calido is a growing family business in the home and garden market. Priding ourselves on excellent products and customer service we sell locally and nationally and we are constantly looking at new additions to our product range.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate picking and packing of customers orders for delivery. You will, liaise closely with our warehouse staff to ensure products are pre-dispatch inspected properly. You will be required to receive goods into the warehouse and correctly store them. As a part of the role you will also be required to be involved in stock control and ensuring that stock levels are sufficient.

In the summer the role can change to one where you could be assisting the garden machinery technician in the workshop, assembling new products, robotic mower installations and more.

Being part of a close-knit team, you may be required to help in other aspects of the business such as in the showroom helping with customer enquiries, delivering customers orders and other tasks.

**Key Skills/Attributes**
- Experience dealing with customers ideally in a showroom setting (preferred)
- Basic math skills.
- Good communication ability.
- Well-organized and able to problem solve.
- Attention to detail.
- IT literate, especially on Excel and Word.
- Must have a valid UK Driving Licence
- A willingness to learn

**Duties**
- Correctly packaging and dispatching customer orders.
- Receiving and checking off deliveries and highlighting any anomalies.
- Ensuring that the warehouse is kept tidy at all times
- Ensuring low stock levels are highlighted to management.
- Ensuring that the forklift/van/lorry is used, driven and maintained in an appropriate and courteous manner in line with legislation, health and safety guidelines and company policy.
- Serving customers in the firewood store
- Reporting any vehicle defects immediately to Management.
- Liaising with suppliers on deliveries where necessary.
- Assisting on Automower Installations
- Assisting garden machinery mechanic in the workshop
- Deliveries to customers
- Building rapport with customers through excellent customer service.
- Acting as an advocate for the Calido brand.

**Please note this role does require heavy lifting.**

**To be considered for this role, you should be**:

- Within easy commute of Throsk, FK7 7NP.
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
- Have a full UK driving licence or equivalent licence valid for the UK.

A valid forklift ticket would be a benefit, training can be provided.

**Remuneration and Hours**
- Salary dependant on experience.
- Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm - **Saturdays 9am - 2pm on a ROTA Basis.**:

- 28 days holiday a year (including statutory) plus your birthday off.
- Company Health Care Scheme (non contractual)
