**Person specification**:
**Education & professional Qualifications**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Masters level qualification in Management, Mathematics or Information Systems or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
- PMO Management qualification or proven experience in managing a PMO
- A recognised qualification in or working towards a programme management qualification (eg PRINCE2 or MSP)

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Experience of overseeing a portfolio of programmes and interdependencies, specifically including Change and Financial Recovery
- Demonstrable experience of working in a matrix management environment and understanding of complex projects/programmes
- Relevant, demonstrable experience of implementing systems and processes

**Skills and aptitudes**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Able to ensure department standards in project methodologies are adhered to
- Oversee all of change portfolio benefits through tracking of milestones and reporting of key risks/issues
- Ability to communicate across all levels across the organisation
- Ability to present and transform complex technical information in a way suitable to the audience
