**Senior PHP Engineer**

A terrific UK based automotive company which has over 100 years of experience and is driven by passion, strong work ethic and trust. The company work in the transport field and are looking for a wonderful Senior PHP Engineer to join their family of technologyexperts. The successful Senior PHP Engineer should expect to be part of an encouraging team which supports them in their career to be the best they can be The Senior PHP Engineer will get the chance to work alongside the brilliant tech team on large scaleprojects as well as work individually during their own self-containing projects.The chosen Senior PHP Engineer will be expected to work from their wonderful converted office twice a week which is easily commutable from both Cheshire/Liverpool As the SeniorPHP Engineer you will be enhancing the clients overall user experience by making the technology easier to use, as well as helping to fix code and deal with any technical issues which may occur.
As well as hybrid work options, flexible working hours are available to suit the needs of the staff enabling them to still have a life outside of work very helpful when trying to get those errands completed
**Key Skills**:

- 4+ years commercial experience
- Excellent PHP knowledge including MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Zend etc..) as the platform uses core PHP components
- JavaScript knowledge including frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular
- Relational database knowledge such as MySQL
- Experience using HTML/CSS
- Version control systems knowledge such as Git
- Working with RESTful API’s
- Knowledge of cloud server hosting programmes such as AWS, Google cloud, Cloudgator or similar

**Bonus Skills**:

- Any experience in the automotive sector
- NodeJS
