To assist the registered nursing staff in the day to day care of patients which adheres to best practice, standards and guidelines. Endeavouring to provide for the holistic needs of the individual in-conjunction with other disciplines within the health care environment.
To assist the registered nurse in carrying out direct nursing care.
To undertake delegated duties related to patient care that contributes to the ongoing support of patients. To include escorting patients to various destinations.
To display empathy, understanding and the ability to relate to people with learning disabilities, or complex mental health problems
Ensure observation levels are consistently carried out. Obtain specimens from patients for the purpose of testing and screening where necessary
Contribute to maintaining the safety and security of individuals and their environment.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
