**About the role**

The Trialling team is responsible for trialling new functionalities of OSP in ecommerce, fulfilment, in-store fulfilment, logistics and supply chain to make sure everything works as expected before it’s released to clients. The team provides valuable feedback to product teams which is used to improve the OSP. As part of trialling, the team fulfils live customer orders which means behaving as a real retailer to enable the full use of OSP.

As Team Lead you will lead a team of 4, plus 8 warehouse operatives; the role is about ensuring the internal retailer fully supports the development of OSP with appropriate trialling activities. Some of the activities you will oversee would include the continuous trialling of various aspects of the platform, including data feeds. You would also supervise OSP product specific UIs development as well as demand and KPIs management. You would also organise all marketing, customer service, daily operations (incl. warehouse activities) and data mapping.

As Team Lead, you will be responsible for line management, operational decisions and supervision of team activities. You would need to not only liaise with stakeholders from different departments within Ocado Technology, but also other companies of the Ocado Group like Ocado Solutions. You would be tasked with the coordination and the management of on-going projects and would need to improve or at least maintain the internal retailer performance. Ensuring the maintenance and update of the budget, and resolving issues and conflicts would also fall under your remit.

Challenges change on a weekly basis, therefore flexibility and aptitude to change are fundamental to this role.

**About you**

**We’d love to hear from you if you have;**
- Proven experience in leading and working with cross-functional (incl. technical) teams
- Demonstrable skills in managing multiple projects, planning and organising
- Entrepreneurial and self starter mentality
- Proactive and effective communicator, master at problem solving
- Adaptable approach to working hours, which can mean working late in the evenings, occasionally over the weekend and during night hours.
- Excellent Computer skills, with a proficiency in Google Suite, Google Script, Big Query and Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel).

**It would be great but it’s not essential, if you have;**
- Operational experience in Retail with distribution/warehouse environments
- Understanding of Slack apps, Kabana boards, JIRA, Cloud solutions
- Any of the following skills would be looked on favourably: RESTful APIs, JSON, Postman
