Cleaning Operative - Stansted Airport
- Permanent full-time role
- Day shifts - 4 on 4 off (0700-1900hrs)
- Salary £19,100 plus 17.5% shift allowance

**About the role**:
We currently have opportunities to join our Soft Services Team in Stansted as a Cleaning Operative. Cleaning Operatives are a critical part of the operation and key to our success. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the terminal is clean24/7 365 days a year whilst Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to.
- To provide a clean Terminal 24/7 365 days a year to ensure our customers always receive and excellent customer experience
- Ensure the successful day to day delivery of cleaning and waste away in the allocated area of responsibility
- Provide the highest level of service within their area of responsibility in line with the agreed standards
- Respond positively, politely and promptly to all customers and carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner.
- To ensure COSHH and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures.
- Be responsible for providing support to all areas within the Soft Services delivery such as (but not restricted to) roadside and airside litter picking, wasteaway functions, plant and engineering facilities and office cleaning
- Ensure timely fault reporting of any asset failures
- Be responsible for the smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures.

**About you**:
We are looking for team players with an enthusiastic approach, can-do attitude, and a knowledge of cleaning chemicals and disposal methods. Other skills required include:

- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning such as using electronically powered scrubbing / polishing / vacuuming machines to scrub, polish, spray and clean floors
- Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Basic level of spoken English required to understand safety instructions and liaise with customers
