As a result of their continuing success and commitment to product performancethey are currently recruiting for the position of Product Test Development and Verification Engineer.**

The primary function of the Research and Development Department is to design innovative new products as defined by the management team. In order to maintain their position as market leader, this involves the research of new technologies, refinement and improvementof existing technologies, and the careful implementation into manufacturable products.

**This post has overall responsibility for ensuring that products perform to their functional and parametric specifications as well as meeting the expectations of our demanding customer base.**

- Determine appropriate test strategies for new and existing products and implement them in both the development and production environment
- Develop test practices for ensuring new hardware/software designs meet their design objectives
- Execute verification processes to confirm software releases and updates are performing to specification
- Monitor performance of existing test systems to ensure they are operating effectively and efficiently
- Develop and build effective sub-assembly test methodologies and fixtures
- Assist with timely introduction of new products by ensuring they perform to expectations and appropriate test mechanisms are in place.
- Work alongside Development, Production and Service staff to fully support them in their test and verification needs. Advise on and recommend any changes to processes that will improve product consistency and performance

Qualified at least to HND level in an electronics or related technical discipline

Experience in an electronics R&D or Test development environment

Understanding of electronics test methods and systems

Experience with embedded systems

Good electronic workshop skills
