Gilbarco Veeder-Root is the world leader in refueling and payment solutions for forecourts. Providing and installing tank equipment, pumps, EV chargers, sales, and monitoring systems, we also ensure these are maintained and managed for our customers.

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Controller, who will schedule the work of our Service Engineers ensuring they meet our customer service level agreements (SLA) as well as building a work plan for the field to optimise resource utilization.

Working closely with our Regional Managers and Sales and Service Support Manager, you will become adept at understanding the business/customer priorities to enable you to plan/reallocate work accordingly. You will proactively manage overdue calls and reduce backlogs by scheduling appropriately.

- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- be resilient - able to work effectively under pressure within a busy and diverse environment and make decisions quickly
- have previous experience of working within a service delivery or contact centre - be customer obsessed
- have previous planning or scheduling experience
- have excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise and multitask effectively and work to tight deadlines
- have good geographical knowledge of UK or a willingness to learn it quickly
- have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- able to work constructively in a team, focussing on solutions to improve service levels

In this role you will need to work 1 in 4 weekends (Sat/Sun) providing cover on the call handlers rota(worked from home) and will receive overtime payment (time and half/double time accordingly).
