**Job description**
- The Houghton-le-Spring site is currently undergoing significant investment to increase capacity and install world leading environmental controls._
- Must be safety focussed, demonstrate good safety behaviours and be comfortable to raise safety concerns should they arise._
- Experience of working with chemicals and COSHH. Must be comfortable wearing PPE including full face mask when required (no facial hair permitted)._
- Required to operate various critical process including i) impregnation and drying plant, ii) thermal processing equipment and iii) onsite effluent treatment facility._
- Required to perform in line testing on manufactured product and quality assurance checks_
- Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping on production equipment and within production areas._
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrable manufacturing experience as a process operator._
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent NVQ. Forklift license would be desirable but not essential as training will be given._

- **Continentals£30,964 per annum**_ _(inclusive of shift allowance)_
- 12 hour shifts - 8 till 8 (3 days/ 3 off/ 3 nights/ 3 off)_
