Job Introduction
We are looking for a Records Assistant within our Unmetered Supplies Team. You will be providing a vital clerical and administrative support service to Western Power Distribution's business and will be involved in various key activities.
If you are offered a position, you will be required to complete and provide a satisfactory basic DBS check that shows any unspent convictions or conditional cautions.

Main Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating inventory records.
- Dealing with and resolving inventory queries.
- Raising Unmetered Records and Connection Agreements for new customers.
- Processing paper and electronic inventories received from customers, such as Street Lighting Authorities.
- Providing summary inventories to Meter Administrators for Half Hourly Customers.
- Carrying out spot checks from CROWN New Supply connection records against customer inventories.
- Ensuring adoption of new housing development unmetered connections are added to customer inventories.
- Assisting with the arranging and analysis of physical unmetered audits.
- Assisting customers with coding queries and industry changes.
- Issuing data flows to Suppliers and Non-Half Hourly Data Collectors to ensure customers are billed timely.
- Analysis of ICP (Independent Connection Provider) connections.
You should be customer focused, self-motivated and have excellent verbal and written communication skills which will be required when dealing with both internal and external contacts. You must be reliable, well organised and be able to work as part of a small team using your own initiative.
