The Holiday Inn Express Strathclyde Park are currently recruiting a **Guest Service Assistant**.

This role is ALL about the guests and delivering outstanding service for them. You will take a friendly approach to providing a safe, hospitable, and positively memorable experience. Reception, Restaurant and Barwherever our guests are, that’s where you’ll be, ready to be the host with the most.

Your Duties as a Guest Service Assistant
- You will provide a personable first point of contact to anyone entering the hotel and be responsive to all situations professionally, promptly, and efficiently.
- Deliver a fantastic experience during our breakfast and dinner service
- Maintain a clean and pleasant environment and ensuring all our guest’s needs are met.
- Ensures all guests receive prompt, cordial attention, and personal recognition
- Liaise with other staff in relation to staff shortages and cover shifts when necessary

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**

To succeed in the role of Guest Service Assistant you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ensure our guests receive an exceptional level of service and want to return
- Anticipate guests’ needs and provide service to exceed their expectations
- Comply with brand, hotel, and company operating standards
- Adhere to departmental Standards of Performance
- Maintain good working relationships with colleagues
- Take a responsible approach towards timekeeping and attendance at work to ensure the department always runs efficiently, and to assist in the event of absence cover
- Have excellent personal presentation and always adhere to the company standards of appearance
- Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment to every task undertaken
- Strive to be the best in what you do, taking care and pride in your work
- Experience within a customer facing role is preferred.
- A can-do attitude
- Computer literate with a professional telephone voice
