Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are an award winning digital content agency and media network who are currently on the lookout for a **Senior Audio Producer** to join our team at History Hit.

History Hit is the UK’s biggest digital history brand across podcasts, Video on Demand, social media and the web, with more than 100,000 subscribers to its TV and audio networks. Its podcast network, including Dan Snow’s History Hit, has millions of listens each month.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for history to work closely with the Head of Podcasts and manage a slate of podcasts.

**HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME**
- Managing a slate of podcasts
- Working with the Head of Podcasts on department management
- Managing a team of people and delivering effective feedback
- Maintaining editorial responsibility for your podcasts
- Collaborating with History Hit marketing and video teams
- Managing the development, planning and creation of content in the podcast team
- Responsibility for team budget and coordinating resources in a busy production environment
- Accountable for target achievement
- Ensure accuracy and quality under pressure
- Working with commercial partners

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**

Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.
- Experience of working in audio production
- Has previously worked with high-profile talent
- Able to manage editorially complex situations
- Can develop fresh ideas and talent from start to finish
- An understanding of diverse audiences and inclusivity, including viewpoints and stories that are traditionally underrepresented
- Background working with commercial partners
- Knowledge of filmed podcasts
- Team management experience
- Awareness of trends and an understanding of the podcast industry
- A passion for history
