Role: Team Leader

Location: Barnsley

ESP manufacture and supply sealing and polymer products to a wide variety of equipment manufacturers across numerous industry sectors including HVAC, off-highway, food & beverage, automotive, rail, life-sciences, defence, and oil & gas.

Located in our production facility in Barnsley the position operates within a highly dynamic yet structured team.

Key Responsibilities:
By following the requirements of our quality management system and embracing a strong Health & Safety culture, along with ensuring all personnel are adequately trained and developed to perform duties required of them, they will directly contribute to the success of the business.
- Adhere to appropriate KPI’s by planning and organising the work of the Production Department.
- Ensure raw material is delivered to the Production Department on time to enable customer requirements to be met.
- Plan and supervise team members daily tasks.
- To follow instructions and procedures to deliver product as per ISO9001 requirements and ISO 2230 requirements.
- Complete reviews of staff performance. Ensure all personnel are adequately trained and developed to perform duties required of them and carry out any HR duties required.
- Be responsible for their own, their staff and visitors’ health and safety within their department, for the promotion of health and safety in line with ERIKS and their Customer’s Health & Safety Policies and procedures.
- Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed and develop safe working practices, ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
- Ensure good housekeeping for an efficient working environment
- Managers shall make themselves aware of and ensure compliance with all the company’s applicable management systems policies and procedures.
- To carry out any other duties as instructed and as laid down in your contract of employment.
