**Cover Supervisors** to work across our client schools based in
**Bourne** starting
**Immediately.**

**As a Cover Supervisor your main responsibilities will be to**:

- _Supervisor classes across the curriculum in the event of a teacher absence._
- _Ensure that pupils are engaging in pre-planned work._
- _ Manage pupil behaviour to create a safe and positive learning environment._
- _ Liaise with other staff members in regard to work being set and ensure you have all suitable resources._
- _ Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil attendance, engagement and completion of work tasks._

**To be a successful Cover Supervisor you should**:

- _Hold an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher or be a Graduate considering a career in education._
- _ Have knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies (training can be provided)._
- _ Have the ability and willingness to undertake additional training and courses to enhance your professional development._
- _ Empathise with young people and have good interpersonal and communication skills._
- _ Have the ability to use your own initiative to work flexibly and be able to respond to different situations._
