Overview of the role
The Retail Operations team supports and improves the operational processes in our stores, making things simpler for stores and better for customers. As an Operations Specialist within the team, you will be responsible for delivering change and providing support and expertise to both stores and the support office. You will help to support and embed our Model Day processes, Omnichannel operation and till processes in shops.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting our stores and who has an interest in our store processes and technology.

Your Responsibilities
- Write and maintain Operational guidance on BootsLive
- Provide management information to improve compliance
- Work with central Business Teams to deliver change e.g. Supply, Logistics, IT
- Analyse data to make informed decisions
- Maintain awareness across the wider Store Operations function
- Represent a Stores operational view for Projects and Initiatives to ensure they land right first time
- Have an understanding of our instore technology (Hand helds, Tills, Controller etc)
- A good understanding of stores and operational processes (ideally having worked in Store in the past)
- Excellent relationship building skills, able to engage and influence colleagues across the business
- Ability to work collaboratively across all functions within the business
- Ability to work at pace
- Ability to explain, simplify and communicate complex information concisely
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise work effectively
- Knowledge of SAP, PowerBI, Mainframe preferable but not essential
- Be prepared to spend time in Shops gaining insights by proactively completing in store tasks e.g. working a delivery and to gather feedback to help make improvements
