**Job Title: Goods in Operative**

**Reports To: Goods in Supervisor/Prep Supervisor**

**Job Purpose**:
To fulfil daily manufacturing tasks as allocated by the Goods in supervisor in a safe and efficient manner

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- To follow supervisor instruction.
- Receiving, segregating, maintaining traceability and completing records to standard.
- Ensure that ingredients don’t stay more than 20 minutes out of the chiller.
- Ingredients to be stored in chillers per allergen management system in place.
- Defrosting ingredients, box opening, completing defrost records.
- Veg washing procedures are followed.
- Ensuring correct ingredients are issued to the Prep Kitchen accordingly to the production plan.
- Minimize, report and record any waste of ingredients including bread.
- Use trolley provided for any heavy ingredient’s movement.
- To follow guidelines and instructions from the supervisor carefully.
- To report any Non-Conformance with products/packaging supervisor or Operations Manager.

**Teamwork**
- Cover colleagues for short time periods when they are on holiday in low care or inside Prep Kitchen HC.
- To maintain a good working atmosphere within the team.
- Communicate well with line management and other team members.

**Health, Safety and Hygiene**
- To report any equipment damages or malfunction.
- Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene always.
- Follow a clean as you go policy.
- To wear all PPE provided in the correct manner, and to ensure that company policies including hand washing and personal food safety rules are followed.
- While handling knife please follow knife handling procedure/SOPs.
- Report any incident or near miss to production manager immediately.
- Where Heavy lifting is required, make sure team lifting is carried out.

- Creating a good working atmosphere within the team.

**Mission**:

- To be able to complete all functions and technical records for Low Risk area.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, N18 3AL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
