Food and Beverage Assistant

**Duties**:

- Working at restaurant, functions and events, handling plates of food and assisting in food service
- Set up and break down catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, taking orders and serving food and beverages
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following bartending protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including dining areas, kitchen, and bar
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with banquet setup, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food service industry or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects when necessary
