**Position Title**: Supply Chain Planner
**Reporting to**: Director, Supply Chain & Logistics
**Location**: UK - Remote
**Position Summary**:
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers through effective supply planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, operations, finance, and logistics, to align supply with demand, minimise costs, and ensure optimal stock levels. Your role will focus on driving operational efficiency, reducing lead times, and optimising inventory across the supply chain.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with sales team to develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales insights using Anaplan.
- Analyse demand variability and adjust forecast models to improve forecast accuracy.
- Regularly review and update forecasts based on changing market conditions, customer orders, and new product introductions.
- Conduct root cause analysis on demand fluctuations and provide recommendations to improve forecasting processes.
- Maintain and communicate demand forecasts to stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments.
- Generate weekly supply plans and coordinate with production teams to ensure material availability for planned production schedules.
- Collaborate with production teams to manage delivery schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective replenishment of products.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks to prevent shortages and delays, ensuring continuity of supply.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points across all locations.
- Develop and execute inventory strategies to reduce excess inventory, prevent stockouts, and meet service-level targets.
- Track and analyse inventory movements to minimize obsolescence, slow-moving stock, and aging inventory.
- Implement best practices for inventory accuracy and perform regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
- Track key supply chain metrics, such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turnover, and lead times.
- Provide regular reporting on inventory health, supply risks, and demand trends to senior management.
- Identify process improvements to streamline supply chain operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Work closely with product, sales, operations and finance teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding supply chain planning issues and inquiries.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to manage shipping schedules, optimise transportation, and resolve delivery challenges.
- Project participation required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Essential)
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management. (Essential)
- Proficient in supply chain planning software (preferably Anaplan or any other e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, Kinaxis) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimise supply chain performance.
- High level of accuracy in forecasting, reporting, and inventory management.
- Ability to anticipate demand and supply issues and develop proactive solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in market demand or supply chain conditions.
- Driven to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance, such as service levels, inventory accuracy, and cost savings.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be adaptive and flexible to changing priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt and change with the business needs.
