Supply Chain Planner Location:Telford Duration: Permanent Salary/Package:Up to £32k per annum (depending on experience) This organisation is a real success story who have had a number of exciting developments over the last few years. This means they are now at the point where they are ready to bring in an additional person who can work with the existing operations and logistics management to support across areas such as planning, inventory management and customer order scheduling to ensure that sufficient resources are always available to fulfil customer requirements. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for: Creating and Maintaining customer forecasts and schedules and ensuring that stock is kept at effective Min/max levels Ensuring purchase orders are placed with global suppliers, factoring in lead times and delivery schedules Monitor supplier performance and ensure OTIF levels are maintained Monitoring inbound customer orders and ensure that schedules are amended Liaise with freight forwarders agents ensuring services are acquired at competitive terms Raise and issue pick lists to the warehouse Overview of the candidate We are looking for someone with some existing knowledge of Supply and demand processes, so previous experience in roles such as Stock controller / Supply Chain Planner / Materials Controller / Junior Buyer / Logistics Planner Previous experience with using MRP / ERP systems would be advantageous Ambitious and driven disposition with the desire to develop and grow their professional skills The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
