**eCommerce Assistant**

**Based: Chipping Campden**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week**

**Outline**:
With an impeccable eye for detail and a can-do attitude, you will assist the Digital & e-Commerce Manager in ensuring the effective running and day-to-day upkeep of all internal Robert Welch websites in conjunction with the wider eCommerce team. Primary tasks include optimising and maintaining product listings, on Robert Welch websites and marketplaces. This is the perfect role for someone looking to kick start their eCommerce career.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure new product listings, landing pages and blogs are created
- Load products on Robert Welch websites to coincide with new product launches
- Upload product images and videos as soon as they are made available
- Assist the Digital & e-Commerce Manager to ensure Trade and Hospitality websites are up to date
- Regular site audits of internal sites - site speed, content copy, imagery, videos etc
- Regular site audits including 404s and redirects etc
- Daily website checks
- Identify improvements that can be made across all internal sites
- Reviewing and actioning points from Customer Service to improve the website.
- Website optimization using Shopify
- Identifying UI & UX issues that might hinder/improve a customer journey

**Competencies/Experience (these are not essentials but good to have)**:

- Understanding of a CMS system (Shopify, WordPress or Magento) and the functionality in relation to the management of websites.
- General understanding of website structure - HTML / CSS implications
- Knowledge of product uploading and merchandising
- An understanding of third-party website platforms such as Amazon and eBay and the ability to add new product content, including titles, key information, and images
- Basic understanding of UI & UX
- Understanding Website optimisation / keyword research / sitemaps / metatag optimisation
- Klaviyo, Shogun, Hotjar knowledge
- Basic Photoshop skills e.g., image resizing
- A knowledge of website testing is desirable
- Basic understanding of paid social media, especially Facebook adverts
