**Myers Building Supplies **are seeking a **Plumbing & Heating Sales Advisor** to join our growing plumbing and heating team, based in **Huddersfield **offering plumbing, heating, bathrooms and renewable products on a **full time**, **permanent basis.**

**Myers Building Supplies **has 16 branches throughout Yorkshire and is part of the family-owned **Myers Group**. We are looking to recruit a motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our committed and experienced team supplying a whole range of building materials including kitchens and bathrooms. **Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the delivery of the MBS sales and margin targets whilst maintaining a value proposition for the customer
- Contribute to a proactive culture of H&S, ensuring everyone in the team complies with the Company HSE policies and procedures.
- Using the information systems provided, proactively identify and address:

- Opportunities to increase basket spend e.g. upselling, impulse buys
- Set a high standard of customer service within the branch, thereby sustaining customer satisfaction and loyalty:

- Understand and solve customers’ problems
- Identify and address areas where service can be improved
- Pro-actively seek new business by targeting a combination of Myers Building Supplies existing customer base and prospective customers.
- Liaise between the suppliers, the branch and customers to efficiently answer general enquiries concerning deliveries and production.
- Manage the merchandising, liaising with the relevant suppliers for any equipment, POS and practical support
- Attend meetings and group discussions where required
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by the Company from time to time, as instructed by or under the direction of your line manager.

**To be considered for the role you must have the following skills, experience and attributes**:

- A background in Plumbing and Heating Sales
- A proactive nature with a desire to achieve results
- Good communication skills
- IT literate
- Commercial awareness
- The ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships

Working Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays.
