**Personal Injury Litigator / RTA Litigator**
A Personal Injury Litigator / RTA Litigator is required by a long-established law firm based in Leeds.
**Role responsibilities**:

- The incoming Personal Injury Litigator will be part of a team that specialises in Claimant Personal Injury and RTA work.
- You will be responsible for managing your own files of a high value, both pre-litigated and litigated.
- It is essential you have experience in a similar Personal Injury Litigation role, managing your own caseload of multi-track or fast track cases and have a **good understanding of the CPR and litigation process.**:

- You must also be an excellent negotiator with strong communication skills.

**Daily duties will include**:
Dealing with cases of complexity, causation arguments and denials of liability with mínimal supervision.
- Assess liability and quantum to include reviewing medical reports and researching and obtaining relevant case law.
- Drafting schedules of special damages and assessing suitable awards for compensation for pain, suffering and loss of amenity, and other general damages.
- Drafting Court proceedings, dealing with allocation questionnaires, adhering to court directions and timescales, preparing relevant documents for disclosure, submitting evidence and instructing Counsel/other appropriate experts as required.
- The prospective applicant must have experience in complex and high-value personal injury claims.

You are required to have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
