This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional with experience handling non-litigated personal injury claims to join a forward‑thinking practice that values quality, efficiency and client service.The successful candidate will manage a caseload of non-litigated personal injury claims valued up to £100,000, progressing each case efficiently from initial instruction through to settlement. The role requires sound legal judgement, a strong understanding of procedural rules and a commitment to achieving timely and cost‑effective outcomes for clients and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of non‑litigated personal injury claims valued up to £100,000 efficiently and profitablyMeet performance targets relating to settlements and fee recoveryDeliver outstanding client care and achieve excellent client satisfaction ratingsHandle Fixed Fee and Portal RTA claims, including untraced and uninsured MIB matters, maximising damages by pursuing all appropriate heads of lossObtain and review medical and non‑medical evidence in line with track requirements and recoverabilityUse the PI Calculator and other tools to support case progressionAdvise clients on risk areas, including fundamental dishonesty and ensure evidence is properly cross‑referenced for accuracyLiaise with clients, insurers, litigation friends, attorneys or Deputies to obtain timely instructionsComply with professional conduct rules, internal policies and proceduresKeep clients regularly informed throughout the claims process, using both technology and personal engagementBuild positive working relationships with defendant Solicitors and Insurers to promote effective collaborationVerify the authenticity and validity of claims and continually assess prospects of successManage costs effectively to minimise write‑offs and ensure profitabilityInstruct only approved experts and counsel and obtain all relevant documentation to advance claimsNegotiate liability and quantum offers efficiently, prioritising telephone discussions where appropriateOrganise and prioritise daily tasks, post and emails to ensure timely handling of all mattersExperience and KnowledgeProven experience managing your own claimant caseload of non‑litigated personal injury claims, ideally within RTA Portals and the former Multi Track (now Intermediate Track)Experience handling EL, PL or OL cases would be an advantageTrack record of meeting fee or settlement targetsKnowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant case law, with the ability to progress claims efficiently in line with procedural requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise adviceStrong client care and relationship‑building skillsAbility to liaise effectively with third parties, including insurers, experts and counselProficient in case management systems (such as VF) and Microsoft OfficeHighly organised, with good time‑management skills and a proactive approach to resolving issuesA willingness to support and mentor colleagues where neededThis firm promotes an inclusive and supportive working environment where diversity is valued and equal opportunities are at the heart of its culture.Benefits include25 days' holiday plus bank holidaysHybrid working optionsHoliday buy and sell schemeTwo volunteering days per yearMatched charity fundraising up to £250Medicash cash plan – reclaim dental, physio and optical costsAccess to digital physiotherapy, wellbeing tools and health screenings via the Medicash appDiscounts and cashback on travel and shoppingLife assurance (4x salary)Pension schemeActive wellbeing support networkOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesFunded social eventsDress for your day policyThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Injury File Handler looking to join a respected national practice offering long‑term development, a collaborative working culture and a varied, high‑quality caseload. xpwpeyx For more information or a confidential discussion about this role, please contact Rachael Atherton at G2 Legal Recruitment.#INDMALN#J-18808-Ljbffr
