**MAIN TASKS - PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
To work at the clinic reception desk, supporting the medical and nursing team, with patients dealing with queries.
- To provide a comprehensive administration, booking appointment service, checking in of patients for clinics and ensure compliance with waiting time targets.
- To complete administration tasks and input information onto electronic record systems following trust guidelines.
- To liaise with the clinical teams to support the delivery of services across Buckinghamshire.
- To provide admin support to the Ophthalmic team as required.
- To undertake any other appropriate duties as directed by the service.

An opportunity has arisen for a band 3 administrator/receptionist to join the Ophthalmology team. We are looking for a highly organised administrator with customer service experience to support ophthalmology Nursing team contributing to the day -to day smooth running of clinics, the role is based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Previous experience as an administrator is essential, NHS experience is an added advantage. The role requires, supporting the nursing team with all administrative duties, meeting and greeting visitors to the unit, answering queries, diary management, and booking specialist clinics. Good knowledge of word and excel and previous use of hospital systems and databases and excellent communication skills
