Description
- As a demand planner your main goal is to contribute to continuous improvements and ensuring service levels are being met globally for service parts. You will be responsible for over 55 strategic stock locations globally including a global distribution centre and 5 regional distribution centres - which provide services parts for over 100+ countries with warranty and service contracts with mission critical response time.

Responsibilities
- Physical network design (route designing and warehouse location designing)
- Monitoring and providing feedback on global spares market performance.
- Providing support for the rollout of any future stocking locations.
- Monitor and feedback on market performance
- Track warehouse utilization rates and costs associated with operating locations.
- Understanding of market operational costs and work to address inefficiencies
- Inventory optimization
- Quarantine and obsolescence inventory management
- Delivery inventory stock turns in line with corporate objective
- Manage service delivery within the define corporate inventory targets.
- Data and statistical modelling
- Data review and data integrity maintenance.
- Global parameter management & trend analysis.
- Manage and maintain data integrity of ERP system.
- Review and interpret field support material requirement to mitigate risk to the logistics function
- New part introduction planning & engineering change management.
- System maintenance and development (INFORM Add*ONE, Qliksense, INFO M3, Salesforce).
- Maintaining all designated process maps, work instructions and documents relevant to the job.
- Act as single point of contacts for all supply chain related activities at each country/region.
- Attend product related forums (e.g. cell meetings, monthly regional service calls etcs) to pre-empt/understand the future direction of Elekta and the impact to the service supply chain function (ELP).
- Provide support for the rollout of any future strategic stocking locations.
- Accurately compose and publish key performance metrics for global audience.

Authorities
- Authorization to scrap stock within relevant approval limits for the role.

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies

Education
- Degree in the following fields are preferred: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Science or Operational Research.
- Other degrees are also accepted e.g. Business, Economics, Statistics/Mathematics and Engineering etc.

- Aptitude to want to lean new software skills and new skills (programming experience would be an advantage or desire to learn programming e.g. Qliksense, Python, R Programming, SQL etc.).

- Cross functional project involvement and management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of financial and operational impacts.
