**The role**

This is an exciting and challenging position that will see you reporting directly in to our head of risk and compliance and joining a growing team. You will have a background within finance or financial service businesses and knowledge of compliance, lawand audit within this space.

In this role, you will benefit from having strong knowledge of financial regulations, ideally worked within FCA guidelines, as you will be supporting and advising a business of over 100 accountancy firms and 1600 staff.

This is a brand new position to make your own and a chance to be part of an organisation that has had significant investment and wants to grow. You will be supporting and collaborating with the whole Risk and Compliance team working towards building a fitfor purpose centralised function for the group.

**About you**
- 6+ years’ experience as a Compliance Lead, delivering preferably within the Finance & Accounting domains.
- Strong knowledge of regulations such as ICAEW, FCA, CPA/CIA ACCA etc..
- Experience in the project management of policy roll outs and changes, managing and delivering training across an organisation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to analyse data and provide recommendations to the group.
- Experience of working with large stakeholder groups with the ability to influence, build trust and gain consensus with people across all levels of the organisation.
- Knowledge of data protection principles including GDPR
- Able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Self-starter, able to work independently without needing supervision and manage own time effectively while being team oriented and collaborative.
