**Job objectives and responsibilities**
The role involves implementing planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems. You will ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, codes of practice, and statutory regulations, including the Permit to Work Systems.
As a trainer and mentor to prisoner working groups, you will complete Planned Preventive Maintenance and Helpdesk tasks, maintaining SHE standards. You will liaise with engineers and subcontractors, proactively addressing client concerns and relaying them to management as needed.
You will develop a detailed understanding of site engineering services and contractual requirements, enforce business risk management procedures, and participate in duty standby/call-out rosters and emergency response teams.
Supporting best working practices, you will complete work-related documentation accurately and on time, troubleshoot site issues, and recommend remedial actions. You will coordinate connections to existing plant/systems and maintain O&M Manuals and quality procedures. Availability for scheduled and unplanned weekend work is required. Completing all PPMs and reactive maintenance on time and close out in SAP to ensure Mitie SLAs are met.
You will support FM Team Leaders in achieving site objectives.
