**An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative at Valeo Snackfoods, Blackpool manufacturing site.**

**Job type: Full-Time, Permanent**

**Shift Pattern: Alternating Shifts, 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm**

**Salary: Grade 2 - £21,500 per annum**

**Key Responsibilities**
- To help achieve the KPI targets on a consistent basis
- Loading and unloading of supplies and finished goods.
- Distribution of ingredients & materials from warehouse to factory
- Offloading & receipt of ingredients & materials to site
- Stock taking & inventory control
- Active involvement in the Company’s current recycling programme.
- Ensuring the warehouse environment is kept clean & tidy
- Adhere to H&S standards at all times
- To comply with standards of food safety, quality and legality at all times.

Demonstrate commitment by example and elevate any potential issues or concerns.

**Knowledge / Skills / Experience**
- Must have previous warehouse experience, including ideally experience of leading a small team
- A reach truck license / fork lift truck license would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of warehouse processes.
- Demonstratable general knowledge of Health and Safety
- High standards of Hygiene.
- Flexible attitude.
- Excellent written and numerical skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
