**Fire Damper Testing/Ventilation Cleaning Technician | Covering Kent, London and the South East | 40 Hours per week | £20,000 - £23,000 per annum, DOE**

Our client is one of the country’s most forward-thinking and innovative air, water and environmental hygiene companies This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving team of people who carry out Ventilation Ductwork Cleaning and other air & water hygienesolutions in the Kent, London & South East areas.

This role would suit someone wanting a hands-on role as it can be physically demanding.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Experience in the following would be great: Engineer, Ventilation, Environmental Hygiene, Ductwork, Kitchen Extract, Cleaning, Cleaner, Air Hygiene, Water Hygiene, Operative, Grease
- A full driving licence with access to a vehicle to drive to the office each morning
- A can-do attitude
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Literacy Skills
- Be Flexible with your working hours including day, evening and night work.
- Be able to follow health and safety procedures

**What will your role look like?**
- The main part of your role will be to assist the Lead engineer in delivering ventilation, ductwork cleaning and other air and water hygiene services to our clients
- You will be working to undertake preventative maintenance servicing and cleaning of a range of ventilation systems, fans and various kitchen environments and any additional duties related to the role as required
- Duct Hygiene and Grease Ductwork Cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease
- Inspection of fire dampers in accordance with BS9999
- Full Kitchen Extract Deep Cleaning and Cooking Appliance Cleaning
- Installing Access Panels
- Water tank cleaning and collecting water samples
- Taking required before and after photos - training provided
- Ensuring service sheets and reports are completed and issued on time.
- Using rotary cleaning cables and brushes - training provided
- Working at height and using safe access equipment - training provided
