**SEMH Assistant - Manchester**

**ASAP Start**

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Mainstream Primary school located in Wythenshawe, that are actively looking for a 1:1 Teaching assistant to work with a SEMH student (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) In this role, you will be working withseveral students on a 1:1 basis, assisting them with both education and external SEMH needs.

Role Requirements:

- 1:1 Work with students struggling with their social, emotional, mental health.
- Pastoral intervention with both SEN and SEMH students
- Building a SEMH support plan with the school SENCO.
- Safeguarding experience within a school setting (this can be done through Teaching Personnel).

You will be working within a passionate faculty who are focused on the development of SEN students, alongside working closely with the school SENCO and HLTAs to gain a better understanding on the students’ requirements.

About the role:

- PAYE rates of £70 - £85 per day
- Weekly pay through school timesheets
- Located M23, easily accessible from anyone in Manchester, Stockport and Trafford.
- Full time - Monday to Friday
- Immediate start following Teaching Personnel registration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
