**Web Services Manager**
We are working with a world leading health research organisation who pride themselves on improving health in the UK and worldwide.They have over 3,300 staff based all over the world with their core hub based in London.
**Web Services Manager role purpose**
You will report into the Director of IT services.You will be responsible for the maintenance, development and integration of the organisations core digital communications channels, websites and co-ordinating & managing resource within the web team.
As the **Web Services Manager** you will also have the following key responsibilities:
- Lead and line-manage the full web services team of between 4-6 individuals
- Support, maintain and develop their Content Management System and digital services
- Respond rapidly to any service-availability problems and threats/breaches
- Lead and manage the technical development and maintenance of the organisations website and digital services.
- Lead approved projects, ensuring all stakeholders are kept up-to-date at all stages, milestones are implemented to specification and completed within agreed timescales
- Deputise for the Digital Services Manager and assume responsibility in their absence.
**Key qualifications and experience**:
- Hold a relevant degree
- Have a relevant qualification or equivalent experience (5 years)
- Preferably hold either PRINCE2 or ITIL (or another qualification relevant to Project Management / IT)
- 5 years + experience managing a team, including time and resource planning
- Stakeholder management
- Experience of writing clean, well-documented code in PHP 5 or above
- Experience with MySQL and SQL Server
- 5 years’ experience writing UI with HTML 5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS 3
- Providing key support on a CMS
