**Residential Conveyancing Paralegal**

We are seeking an experienced **Residential Conveyancing Paralegal** to support a busy Residential Conveyancing team of a forward-thinking, award-winning, law firm at their office in Coventry City Centre.

This is an opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive environment with a well-established, CQS accredited, Legal 500-recognised law firm, who are a key employer of choice in the Coventry area. The firm are very committed to training and development ofall staff to gain additional qualifications and further their careers.

**The position will involve**:

- Managing a small residential conveyancing case load including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and re-mortgages
- Taking instructions from clients and preparing detailed attendance notes
- Preparing and reviewing contracts and supporting title documentation
- Initiating and reviewing searches
- Dealing with pre-contract enquiries
- Drafting of documents, letters, and reports
- Preparing and updating completion statements
- Processing exchange of contracts and post completion documentation
- Preparing and submitting SDLT forms
- Recording time and working towards billing targets
- Communicating effectively and confidently with clients, external solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.
- Administrative duties, including taking phone calls, answering routine correspondence, conducting file reviews, diary management, archiving and filing

Attention to detail, IT skills and excellent communication skills are essential for this position, as well as the ability to work well as part of a team, to tight deadlines.
- Educated to degree level
- Local to Coventry
- Experienced in supporting a residential conveyancing team with all aspects of the conveyancing process
