Teaching Personnel have a high demand for strong teaching assistants with a background in supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). You would be supporting primary & secondary aged pupils who have been excluded from their mainstreamsetting and now attend a provision who specialise in this area.

You will be required to work on a small group and 1:1 basis with pupils who struggle to engage in the work and those who are easily distracted, so the school are happy for you to get the pupils engaged in games or sports they have a particular interest inas a positive reinforcement.

Therefore, the role is known to be more challenging on a physical level and the school are interested in applicants who are into their extra circular activities outside of work as there would be an element of taking pupils out of class to help engage themin sports / physical education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
