**Reservations Groups** - Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport >** **We have a fantastic new vacancy for Reservations Group in the excellent Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport.** **With 365 bedrooms, 17 Meeting and Events rooms and a busy A La Carte Restuarant and Bar, this is a 24/7 operation where you will never be bored** **And this is a great chance for you to join the fastest growing hotel chain in the UK, with multiple new hotels in the pipeline and tons of developmental opportunities and extra benefits for all team members** **Objective of the Role** **To manage and have full responsibility for the Hotel’s groups/tour business; to maximise rooms revenue sales, occupancy and additional revenues spend, in accordance with the Hotel commercial strategies.** **Accuracy and efficiencies in block management (Opera Cloud) is key, to include balancing of the inventory, room types, rate accuracy, inputting of rooming lists and contracting as per Dalata standard with T&Cs adhered to, including payment policies.** **You will be the first point of contact for our groups/tours, from quoting at enquiry stage to conversion and contracting of the business, through to meet & greet of the group/key contact.** **Liaise with our Central Travel Trade team, booking agents, direct bookers - building strong rapport with key partners is key. Adhoc arrangement of meetings with tour leaders or group representatives in accordance with business strategy - ensure meet & greet of groups/tours/key contacts to ensure a warm welcome and run over agenda to support as required and liaise further with internal departments.** **Attend the Hotel Weekly Operations meeting, to communicate to other departments of forthcoming groups/tours and adhoc airlines.** **Key Duties and Responsibilities** - Manage Guests reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard. - Give details of hotel facilities and pricing information. - Upsell other areas of the hotel or other properties in the group. - Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest’s stay. **Requirements**: - 1-2 years experience in a similar role with a Group Reservations System, Opera would be an advantage. - Excellent customer care skills. - Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential. - Ability to cope well under pressure. - Highly motivated, and a team player. **About our culture**: Dalata Hotel Group - Ireland’s largest hotel group has a number of exciting positions on the horizon.
