**Dawson Levy Resourcing**are currently recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to join a key client of ours on a permanent basis in Annesley, Nottinghamshire. This is a permanent opportunity to join a leading Construction Organisation. **Role Overview**: An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Site Engineer to perform a technical, organisational and supervisory role. In addition to your technical role, you will work as part of the site management team, sharing responsibility for site security, health andsafety, as well as the organisation and supervision of material and human resources. **Key Responsibilities**: - Acting as main technical advisor to the site engineers & subcontractors - Ensure Health & Safety are of paramount importance - Regularly review project status ensuring all options have been considered and evaluated to improve construction performance - Ensure commercial challenge at all times - Co-ordinating and delegating the work load among the "setting out" engineers - Co-ordination of all site control and surveying on the site. - Procuring and maintaining surveying and setting out equipment - Daily co-ordination and analysis of survey / settlement and monitoring results. Distribution of the results to all stakeholders, implementing contingency plans if necessary. - Checking and distribution of drawings / documents and quantities and ensuring that any calculations are accurate for the works - Supporting with the selection and procurement of materials for use in the construction and their value - Planning the work and efficiently organising site teams in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines - Attending regular meetings with clients and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress - Supervising and monitoring the site labour force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors - Overseeing quality control, ensuring all Inspection and test forms are completed and recorded - Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may occur - Engage with Supply Chain - Development of strong team working relationships - Helping to ensure all project KPI's and KPM's are achieved - Cost risk management and early identification of problematic issues on site - Bring innovative ideas **Experience and Qualifications**: - An industry applicable qualification - Heavy civil engineering experience is essential - CSCS - SMSTS - First Aid - CAD experience - Working knowledge of Microsoft packages - Trustworthy and ethical approach, exercising discretion where required - Organised, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence - Flexibility, resilience and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels - Commitment to the provision of excellent customer service - Experience in a fast paced, national and multi-site business **Our clients' benefits**: - We put our people first and our benefits package reflects that by offering a comprehensive range of attractive options to help support your career on top of a competitive salary. - Generous holiday entitlement, increasing with years of service, plus the opportunity to purchase further holidays - A wide range of corporate discounts - Childcare vouchers - Cycle to Work schemes - Comprehensive pension plan - Regular Save as You Earn share purchase scheme - Private medical scheme options are available for all salaried employees and our employee assistance programme also provides free 24/7 support to those who need it.
