The Governors and Headteacher of Beever Primary School are seeking to appoint someone who is passionate about our children and is prepared to go the extra mile to continually ensure the highest standards for safeguarding and to improve the provision and experiences for our children by nurturing and supporting them to become the best possible versions of themselves.
Serving an area close to the centre of Oldham, Beever Primary School works with parents to encourage each child to fulfil their potential by means of high standards within a broad and well-rounded education. Beever aims to equip each child with skills, attitudes and values to develop them into responsible citizens. Pupils learn effectively in a safe, secure, high-quality environment where there is a happy, positive and inclusive school culture.

- The ability to work in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team to help drive the school forward, strengthening the pastoral offer for our children and ensuring they are safeguarded effectively
- A high level of interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to working in partnership with all staff, children, families and professionals
- A record of successful experience of contribution to multi-agency meetings
- An understanding of the assessment process for early help and statutory intervention, including local criteria for action
- The ability to plan, organise, manage and prioritise records and their own workload
- An understanding of the barriers to learning faced by disadvantaged children and how to support children in their emotional wellbeing
- A commitment to excellence and holding the highest aspirations for the children at Beever Primary School
