The business was created to offer a solution to manage the time-consuming and complex aspects of managing international medical repatriations, benefitting assistance companies and private individuals alike. **Position**: Due to increased growth, we are now recruiting for a **HR Officer Part-time**, to support the IPRS management team and colleagues with HR enquiries, recruitment, onboarding, training, and day to day HR functions. The successful applicant will provide an efficient and professional HR service to the business ensuring that processes are consistent and in line with company policies. The HR Officer is responsible for ensuring that the business is fully compliant with all employment law regulations. They will work closely with all departments assisting Managers to understand and implement company policies and procedures. **Salary up to £35,000 per annum (Pro rata)** **Location: IPRS Aeromed, Gatwick Office** **Part time 3 days per week to be agreed** **Main duties**: > Support and assist the Group HR Operations Team and act as the first point of call in their absence. - Support and assist IPRS Aeromed colleagues with day-to-day HR queries, disputes, contract issues, IR35, and other employment law matters etc, and work with them to identify and implement solutions. - Arrange, support managers, and conduct disciplinary and grievance procedures end to end. > Assist line managers in interpreting HR Policies and procedures and how they should be applied in a live environment. - Work with the HR Operations Team to process employment letters, including job offers, contracts of employment, contractor agreements, contract addendums, external reference requests, pre-employment checks including obtaining right to work and ID documentation, completion of DBS checks on all new employees and obtaining references and health questionnaires. Also, to process acceptance of resignation letters and manage exit interviews. > Ensure all relevant security screenings (CTC & HMPPS L2) have been successfully passed and documented for all new colleagues and where clearance is being renewed for existing colleagues. - Provide HR advice and guidance to the Operations Director / MTS Director with any special projects or new business initiatives. > Work in collaboration with the Recruitment Team and assist with the recruitment and selection process. To include: Conducting interviews. Managing the onboarding and induction process for new starters. Manging the probationary periods for new starters. > Enter accurate information onto various HR spreadsheets and ensure these are kept up to date. > Record colleagues’ absence using the Central Absence inbox. Support line managers with or conduct return to work interviews and completion of associated forms. Monitor absence triggers, liaising with line managers and colleagues when necessary. > Ensure that all clinical colleagues on the Medic Bank have up to date contractors’ agreements in adherence to IR35. > Contribute to the preparation of payroll information. > Identify and facilitate suitable training to support new managers in their roles utilising grants available if suitable. Monitor training costs. > Maintain IPRS Aspire training and development/ performance management platform. > Support with the roll out of the HR system and thereafter assist colleagues with training on the system. > Provide a professional HR support service to colleagues. > Maintain up to date Job Descriptions & Person Specifications for all roles. Assist with the creation of Job Descriptions for new roles. > Support the implementation of the Wellbeing Strategy. > Ensure all policies and procedures are kept up to date. > Seek ways to continuously improve HR systems and processes to improve service to the business. **Requirements**: **QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE (D-Desirable E- Essential): A levels at grades A-C (D) GCSE in Math’s & English Language A-C / 9-5 Grade (E) CIPD Level 3/5 qualified or working towards (D) 3 years working within a comparable HR function **EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE: At least 2-3 years’ experience of working in a Human Resource Department in a similar role (E) Experienced in acting in a HR advisory capacity to the business. Good experience of using various Microsoft programmes and databases (E) Possesses strong awareness of employment law and usual commercial HR policies and procedures. (E) Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive data (E) **SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
