Accounts Assistant

An Accounts Assistant is required to join our growing practice, delivering our accountancy services accurately and efficiently to a variety of clients of all sizes. Experience of computerised accountancy packages (desktop and cloud based) is essential with spreadsheets, along with an eye for detail is essential.
Working to deadlines, prioritising workloads and dealing directly with clients this is a varied role for a personally organised individual.
Job responsibilities:
- Raising Sales Invoices
- Processing Purchases / Expenses
- Prepayment, Accrual and Depreciation tracking
- Preparing and posting Journal Entries
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT Returns
- Filing
- Preparing Accounts to Trial Balance
- Running payrolls
Experience of the following essential:
- Quickbooks, Xero or Sage Cloud / Desktop Accounts
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Additional skills required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Personally organised
This position is based in our Wrexham office and is not available to work remotely.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £22,308.00-£28,275.00 per year
