**The Role**:
As a Building Control Admin Support Officer you can make your own powerful contribution to the development of our iconic city. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, supportive and diverse team on an 18-month apprenticeship. It’s a busy role in which you’ll take on some vital administrative responsibilities, supporting our Building Control team within the Growth, Planning and Housing Environment department.

Along the way, you’ll work closely with a range of people - from colleagues in Building Control, to members of our Legal departments, as well as councillors, local residents and district surveyors. We’ll give you full support to develop your skills and experience as you work towards your apprenticeship qualification.

**About You**:
Please note that this apprenticeship requires you to be educated to at least GCSE level in Maths and English, or to have an equivalent level of relevant experience.
