You’ll complete a 15-month programme to achieve a Level 2 Customer Service apprenticeship undertaking placements in the Service Desk of the Service Operations Centre (SOC).

You’ll use your skills to provide the best service and support to our customers in UK Government Departments based both in the UK and around the globe all whilst furthering your career.

**Job description**:
The Scheme

Over the course of your apprenticeship, you’ll split your time between a local college completing the knowledge and proficiency qualifications of the programme and on the job training at HMGCC.

You won’t be on tea duty while you’re here; our apprentices get involved in real work from the beginning. Throughout the programme, you’ll be allocated a buddy and undertake various mentored work placements and customer projects which will give you hands-on experience to back up the classroom training.

On completion of the scheme, you’ll have a solid foundation to begin your career as a Service Desk Analyst experiencing a career that’s as varied and progressive as you want it to be.

- You’ll already have or predicted to achieve:
- GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade c/4 or above, in Maths and English
- You’ll also have:
- A keen interest in IT and customer service
