We have a requirement for a Scrum Master to join our growing Engineering team.
**Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
- Enabling the team to be empowered, take ownership of technical product delivery and being able to commit to the delivery of outcomes
- Ensuring that all Agile events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox. Facilitating discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Enabling and supporting the team in the removal of impediments to the team’s progress.
- Works with product owners to ensure effective goal definition and to ensure effective product backlog management
- Coaching within the team to foster greater alignment and relationships supporting high performing teams.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Ensure the continuous communication and collaboration between the team members and the various stakeholders, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Understand and help the team understand their flow metrics, to enable continuous improvement and ensuring the flow of value throughout the teams workflow
- Facilitating and influencing good engineering practices within the team
**Requirements**:
- Excellent knowledge of the latest Scrum Guide, Kanban Guide and Professional Scrum with Kanban guide.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches ie Kanban, Professional Scrum with Kanban, XP, etc.
- Knowledge and previous experience in Flow Metrics
- Knowledge of facilitation techniques such as liberating structures
- Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, BDD, TDD, CI/CD, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
- Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team and engineering best practice.
- PSM II, PKI, KMP II or IC-Agile certification preferred
**Benefits**
**Salary**: up to £75,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours of work are 35 hours per week - including a 2pm finish on Fridays
The position is primarily homeworking, with the requirement to attend our company meetings and events on occasions as and when needed.
