**Community Fundraiser - Aberdeen and North East**
Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives our Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children today and prevent abuse tomorrow.
Are you looking for a role within an organisation where the work you do makes a real difference to children’s lives? Are you looking to develop your fundraising experience with a sector leading team? If the answer is yes, then our Community Fundraiser** **role could be for you.
As Community Fundraiser, you will be the driving force behind our community fundraising in Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland.
The role enables you to engage, inspire and develop a network of individuals and local groups who will in turn help generate income through fundraising events and activity to support NSPCC Scotland’s work locally. Not only will the work you do make a real difference to children’s lives, but opportunities are provided to develop your fundraising experience within a sector leading organisation.
As a talented relationship manager who is capable of achieving results within a fundraising environment, you will develop relationships in local communities, grow our supporter base and establish new volunteer fundraising groups and networks to help raise vital income for children.
You will be an excellent communicator who can deliver fundraising pitches, ideas and project updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way, and as a self-starter, you will have the ability to spot opportunities and develop new initiatives to grow income.
This is a real opportunity to make a difference to children’s lives. We also like to reward people by offering a great working environment, being part of a friendly and supportive team, and offering stimulating and challenging work, with plenty of learning and development opportunities. We offer a variety of rewards and benefits including; generous annual leave, an employee benefits and assistance programme, “The Academy” training and development hub, pension and life assurance schemes.
Join us at this exciting time and you’ll become part of an expanding team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You’ll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that’ll bring the best out in you. And you’ll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts young lives across Scotland. We want to ensure roles are accessible and inclusive of everyone, which is why the NSPCC offers a high degree of flexibility around ways of working.
This post is home and office based (2 days per week from our city centre Aberdeen Childline base). It involves regular travel within Aberdeenshire and the North East. Some evening and weekend working will also be required.
For an informal chat about the role, please contact Caroline Renton, Supporter Fundraising Manager on
