Head of Media Planning

As Head of Media Strategy & Planning, you will set the long-term Global advertising strategy in line with the brand vision. Enabling COS to reach its growth potential through increased brand awareness. You will provide expertise in Global media planning and advertising channels, data analysis and market insights, to ensure that advertising investments deliver maximum impact and efficiency in raising brand awareness.
What you will do:
- Create best-in-class, omni-channel media strategies that secure brand position and effectively reach our core target audience.
- Deliver a strategic media planning framework that increases our total brand awareness. Raising the brands share of voice, share of search and reach across key Global markets.
- Set a measurement structure to optimise brand awareness media investments Globally and provide insights to enhance media strategies.
- Enable regions to fulfil customer acquisition and retention goals through an effective approach to audience profiling & targeting
- Secure brand position and vision, standing out against relevant luxury brand competitors in the market.
- Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, be a key strategic stakeholder in evolving the long-term brand awareness framework and investment plan, taking the lead by setting the brand’s Global media strategy.
- Effectively manage our Global media agency, establishing a strong relationship to ensure effective communication and alignment on the long-term and short-term media strategy. Managing the scope of work and follow-up.
- Align brand media strategies with the Global and Regional Digital and Performance Marketing teams. Together, setting the optimal balance across brand and performance investments, securing the full customer journey for our core target audience.
- Work closely with teams across the Global Brand & Communications department, such as Project Management, Art Direction, Communications, Graphic Design and Digital Design to ensure optimal brand amplification, timing and creative output. Briefing the teams on media plans, audience and market insights and channel best practices.
- Partner with internal and agency analysts responsible for measuring media performance, including MMM (Marketing Mix Modelling), attribution modelling, digital media analytics and marketing campaign analysis.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the Global media planning framework based on data-driven insights and market trends, ensuring its effectiveness and relevance in achieving brand awareness growth.
- With senior-level experience across omni-channel advertising channels, including: OOH, DOOH, Paid Social, Display, Print, Online Media Partnerships, YouTube and BVOD, plus digital platforms and innovative technologies available, set the optimal channel mix per market, to effectively drive brand awareness with our core target audience and secure our brand position.
- Measure the contribution of different advertising channels to business outcomes. Securing the customer journey across touchpoints. Conducting tests that generate the insights we need to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and experimentation in media planning by staying up-to-date with emerging trends, platforms, and technologies in the industry.

What you need to succeed
- Experience creating long-term advertising strategies for a retail company either agency side or in-house
- Have worked within a global position, strong understanding of the key media differences in each market.
- Expertise in brand advertising channels, media & campaign planning and audience targeting.
- Proven experience increasing brand awareness based on long term strategies
- Experience managing and setting advertising budgets.
