We're recruiting for a Forklift Truck Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team on a permanent basis. This is a full time position, working 07.30am - 18.00pm, Monday to Friday.

**Warehouse Operative responsibilities**:
The post holder, under the management of the Dispatch Team Leader, will be responsible for ensuring safe and compliant operation of a forklift truck for inbound and outbound loading and distribution of packaging, goods and ingredients including;
- Performing tasks according to the method stated in SOP’s and in line with housekeeping and cleanliness requirements
- Ensuring all items are stored and accessed in the appropriate manner and methods
- Reporting any product or packaging damage, non conformance or missing items
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Managing packaging and product waste appropriately (i.e. segregation, storage and reduction)
- Reporting of all accidents, incidents and hazards, defects and/or damage and escalating appropriately

**Warehouse Operative requirements**:

- A current in-date Counterbalance Fork-Lift Truck Licence (essential)
- Reach FLT Licence (preferred)
- The ability to operate within strict processing guidelines
- The ability to comply with food safety requirements
- Previous experience gained within a food manufacturing environment (advantageous)
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal (essential)
