**LH Quarry Plant Limited, are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machine operator to join our busy and expanding team based in Stockton.**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC machine operator to work within a diverse and ever-growing engineering firm.

The position is permanent, full time Mon to Fri

Salary; £16 to £16.75 per hour depending on experience

**Responsibilities**
- Input programs for jobs and are saved correctly
- Ensure tools are available and kept in good condition
- Prove out programs on machines before passing off for general production
- Perform regular checks on production runs
- Ensure all finished work is handled and processed correctly
- Create new programs for jobs as required
- Complete shift paperwork
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the section alongside other setters and operators
- Working within the confines of the company's quality systems, work instructions, and ISO 9001
- Abide by all aspects of health and safety relating to the use of machinery, environment and tools or any other equipment

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**

A highly motivated and proactive time served machinist who can demonstrate successful experience in a similar role.
- Experienced CNC machinist with lathes
- Able to read manufacturing drawings
- Principles of the basic operation of relevant equipment
- Basic Health & Safety at work
- ISO9001 quality procedures for manufacturing
- Understanding manufacturing processes, equipment, parts and components (if applicable to the job/area)
- Knowledge of Siemens, Fanuc, heidenhain and XYZ (ProtoTRAK®)

**Working Location**

Stockton

**Salary**: From £16.50 per hour
