Pixel Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join our client's Children & Families Team based in Barnstaple. Excellent rates on offer up to £44 Per Hour (Umbrella) + a discretionary £150 per week accommodation allowanceto be reviewed on a case by case basis by the Area Manager. This is a full time position based on 37 hours per a week with an initial 3 month contract in place with possible extension after this.Children's Experienced Social Worker required to work and managea caseload for complex Child In Need and Child Protection cases as well as cases in legal proceedings and Looked After Children. The worker will be required to undertake different assessments, including single assessments, viability assessment, S37 assessments,write court statements and care plans. The social worker will be required to have good report writing skills, interview and communication skills, and ability to work under mínimal supervision. The worker will be required to undertake statutory visits and ensureperformance targets are met. The worker will be required to work within a team environment and multi-agency environment. Caseloads are typically at 18 (depending on complexity) and all caseloads above 18 will be reviewed regularly by senior management. Theyare friendly and supportive team, with management presence for any assistance 5 days a week.
