**About the person**:

- Applicants must have a PhD in Solar Physics or a closely-related discipline either awarded or submitted by the time of taking up the post.
- Experience is essential in the analysis and interpretation of solar/stellar observations, and/or modelling and simulations.
- Experience with the analysis and interpretation of solar/stellar flare observations from space-based instruments, including those from multiple vantage points, is highly desirable.
