**Job Title**: Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer

**Location**:Fully Remote (UK)

**IR35 Status**:Inside IR35

**Contract Length**:Initial 6-months (highly likely to be extended)

**About the Client and the Role**:
My client, a household name organisation, are expanding their Infrastructure Security team and are seeking a **Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer** to join on an initial 6-month basis.

As a senior member within the team, you’ll be expected to use your own initiative and work independently while ensuring security is monitored and maintained, as well as implementing new technology into the client’s complex IT infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support, maintenance, monitoring of security throughout infrastructure
- Recognising gaps in security and recommending course of action
- I mplementing security tools and processes
- Ensuring security policies, security standards and technical standards are adhered to
- Assisting with Vulnerability Management ( Tenable) and Data Loss Prevention
- Providing accurate documentation throughout projects
- Strong background in Infrastructure / Network Security
- Proven hands-on experience Security Engineering
- Experience documenting complex projects
- Related Security Certification (desirable)
