**IR35 Status**:Inside IR35

**Contract Length**:6-months (Highly likely to extend)

**Hybrid Model**: 50/50% between Central London office & remote

**Other Information**:Travel may be required to mainland Europe (on rare occasion)

**About the Client and Role**:
My client, a globally renowned, internationally operating bank, is seeking a ** Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer** with expertise in **Virtualisation** and **Automation** to join their globally based team, responsible for supporting and ensuring security of the client’s vast storage & infrastructure environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing engineering of **Automation**and **Virtualisation**:

- Supporting a large VMware Virtualisation estate
- Develop and optimize security and recovery for compute, converged, storage, backup and archive environments
- Involvement of back-up and recovery (**vRealize & VEEAM**)
- Developing VMware VRA and VRO blueprints, workflows and actions
- Infrastructural improvements and new developments (**security**, **recovery**, and **automation**)
- Background within banking / financial environment
- Strong VMware skills (**v**Realize **and **v**Sphere**)
- Excellent hands-on experience with **Virtualisation** and **Automation** within large environments
- Strong scripting (**PowerShell **and **JavaScript**)
- Solid understanding of **Cyber Security**:

- Experience in consuming and integrating **REST API**’s
