**Salary: £28,575 - £32,382 (pro-rata) (Salary Points 25 to 29)**

**whilst this is a scale for progression, the starting salary is point 25**

**Hours: 35 hours per week**

**Contract: Permanent**

**About the Role**

We deliver a diverse range of employability interventions including:
**Individual Placement and Support (IPS)**: Co located and integrated within partner agencies such as Community Mental Health Teams or Drug and Alcohol Partnerships. Predominantly working to the IPS delivery model on a 1:1 basis with clients

**Step Up**:Delivered in community venues such as community hubs and centres. Predominantly, a

flexible delivery model with a mix of group and 1:1 work with clients

You will manage a caseload of clients to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment, and/or other outcomes, as detailed within the Service Level Agreement. You will provide person centred advice and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers, referral and partner agencies

**What we are looking for**:

- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with a range of people
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to develop and promote a service
- Able to use IT and tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience of working with individuals on a one-to-one basis and in groups
- Experience working in employment services supporting people to obtain or keep work
- Experience/understanding of working with people with mental health problems, or a similar client group within health, social care or the voluntary sector
- Experience and understanding of mental health and health inequalities and the impact these have on communities.
- An understanding of the employment needs, and challenges faced by people who experience labour market exclusion
- Knowledge of the benefits system including disability related benefits would be beneficial
